20 years ago when I first starting making my own soaps and shampoos, I was literally sneaking into my mother's garden and stealing her herbs and flowers. These days I live far enough away that I'm not longer able to be quite so under the radar. She'll notice I'm suddenly around. So I have done my best to source alternatives that stay true to my roots.
As someone with food allergies, and a nephew who is allergic to all artificial colors and flavors, it's important for me to disclose the content of all base ingredients that I use in my skin products.
